Mamezara Plate Set

Mamezara are small plates that comfortably fit in the palm of a hand and are about 6-10cm in diameter. The name mamezara directly translates as “bean plate”, with the mame meaning bean and zara meaning plate. Bean refers to the size of the plates rather than plates used specifically for beans.

This set of Mamezara is manufactured by Sometsuke in collaboration with Peanuts. Riffing on classic mamezara colourways, Sometsuke has produced a really cute set of Peanuts designs that reference both Peanuts imagery and classic Japanese design. 

Brand new boxed set. Each plate roughly 3" wide.
